Practicalities of Getting ID Papers after the Holocaust of (Immoral but ?Legal?) Eviction for TheEvictedRentpayer

The Sheriff's Department does evictions in Jefferson County (Louisville) Kentucky; with some insolence, the evicting officers who forced me out of my apartment-- for which rent had been paid, Lord of the Land simply refusing re-lease for me after 10years rental on ok terms-- these evictors with meta-force had me leave the premises at 3640 Manslick Road #18 40215 WITHOUT ID (PAPERS OF IDENTIFICATION) OR MONEY. Indeed I had MONEY $1300 cash about which I told the Sheriffs that I had this money in the apartment with wish to get it; these officers sworn to honesty told me wrongly that the Lord of the Land's henchpeople (none known to me) WOULD NOT STEAL MONEY-- yet the money was taken. . .I would have used the $ to get a motel, and for all other matters that pertain to living. So, bereft of ID and money I unsuccessfully for a large part walked into downtown that day, a walk then of 15-20 miles, to find not a motel, but a mission or shelter that would take me, but in the end now have a missionary place in which to 'squat' for awhile. . .so

The one SSRI (retirement income from Social Security) check has helped so far to get some basics for living, albeit my mission has threatened to grab all the clothing an toiletry items in my room; the rule to port all my belongings gotten from this once check mostly EVERY DAY would be impossible physically, I DO get 'winded' 'short of breath' when walking, have to stop for 'breathers' frequently, whereas the multiplicity of 'stairstep' and 'low wall' resting places downtown here helps. . . but it is a struggle merely to carry a say 10pound pack with my laptop, 'papers,' and cellphone about short distances for the 'physics of body' just described.

Getting a Social Security card as Coalition for the Homeless requires is no easy process; now with Covid-plague the Social Security people demand that I send ACTUAL (no photocopy) drilvers\'s license and-- better-- a birth certificate. The process can take a long time-- months. As well, getting a Medicare card is a lengthy timewise process.

Today I called Social Security to see about getting the pertinent document-cards they can dispense: I was told that forms have to be mailed to me, signed as mailed back, and as already noted time is required to achieve the 'papers' lacking so-needed.

Kentucky with online work will send birth certificates, but the price is $10, money not at hand now, as I have five dollars cash-in-purse, and another five approximately in my 'bank' (L&N Federal Credit Union-- Let's cheer credit unions as member-owned co-ops!); at any rate, despite the pell mell and push to get all the things seemingly best for getting 'a new place' the slowess, inefficiency and terror in the face of brutal realities are factors that demand immense concentration;

I sleep intensely when I get home; my sleep with yet though be disturbed if my clothing, medication, soaps and toiletries are seized by the mission-house as threatened; in such a way then, in homelessness now demanding this of one who just days ago had all that was needed to survive and GIVE TO OTHERS is shattered by new and brash rules, that could indeed send me to-camp again on the streets or rough glens with the real 'rough sleepers.'
